This collection contains a manuscript, dated 1680, documenting the sale of slave named "Mauricia", a young girl aged 10 or 11 in Colombia. The slave was sold by Garcia Martin de la Reina Alferes of the city of Neiva, Colombia to Pedro de Arana Berino of San Juan de Pasto. The slave was sold for 260 Patacones (also known as a peso).
