On that day hundreds of thousands of gay and lesbian Americans and their supporters rallied in the capital to celebrate the right to be homosexual and to demand freedom from discrimination.

The Tina Louise Hummer Papers contain 19 scrapbooks that document drag performance and pageantry across the Southern and Midwestern United States from the 1970s to the 2000s. Drag performer Tina Louise created and maintained these scrapbooks throughout her career, which began in Nashville, Tennessee in the early 1970s.

The 19 scrapbooks are arranged in chronological order in Paige boxes.
