Biographical / Historical
Van Tankersley Irwin, Jr., was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 25, 1919. Irwin was a Vanderbilt University alumnus, served in the US Navy during World War II, and owned WNAH Radio, 1360 AM. He died on June 10, 2015, in Nashville.
