The Gerald Holly Collection, 1924-1994, consists of film, negatives, and photographic prints of Vanderbilt University and Nashville, Tennessee, taken by photographer Gerald Holly, 1917-2004.

Biographical / Historical
Thomas Gerald Holly (1917-2004), son of Flossie Luna and T. C. Holly, was born on 7 May 1917 in Marshall County, Tennessee. He attended the Watkins Institute of Art Design and went on to have an illustrious career in photojournalism. He worked for the Tennessean and for Vanderbilt University, and his photographs were published in Life, Time, and National Geographic. He died in Nashville, Tennessee, on 19 May 2004.
