Abstract

John Fulton (1831-1932) was born enslaved on Andrew Jackson's Hermitage estate in Hermitage, Tennessee and died in Nashville. He came to work at Vanderbilt in 1885. Series I contains two postcards, an election campaign card, four guest registers, and a newspaper clipping. Series II contains 400 plus photographs, some with inscriptions.

Scope and Contents

This collection contains photographs from Dorothy Parks Evins' travels in Asia (including Thailand and Malaysia) in the 1950s. It also contains Evins' correspondence from that period into the 2010s.
