The Curator of Community Histories prioritizes location when considering new acquisitions. Collections of communities based in Nashville and the surrounding area receive the highest priority. Collected Community Histories will not necessarily relate to SCUA's collecting subject areas; their primary purpose is to tell the story of local communities, especially those which have not been prioritized in past collecting.
