Altarpiece for the High Altar and Small Altar, San Domenigo, Ascoli, This image shows the high altarpiece for San Domenigo, Ascoli, with panels of the small altarpiece of the same church attached as a top (3rd) tier. In the central tier of the High Altarpiece are Ss. John the Baptist and Peter, Madonna and Child, and Ss. Catherine of Alexandria and Dominic. In the second tier, in half-length view are Ss. Francis of Assisi, Andrew, Stephen, and Thomas Aquinas. In the remnants of the small altarpiece shown here as a top tier are Ss. Jerome, Michael, Lucy, and Peter Martyr, in full-length., 1476-1479

Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.VENI.0510; Public Notes: The bottom two tiers are from the altarpiece for the high altar, and date to 1476. The upper tier is from the altarpiece for the small altar and dates to the late 1470s.
