A Humanist, Presumably a portrait of an intellectual from Utrecht painted in half-length view. He sits looking directly at the viewer. On his head he wears a beret. His left hand rests on a small brown dog that lies in front of him while his right hand points to a building in the background. This building may be alluding to the Tower of Babel, for which the supposed sitter wrote commentary on or it may simply be recalling a country or city to which the model traveled., c.1525

Madonna and Child, This painting depicts the Virgin Mary holding the sleeping Christ child. She flips through an illuminated manuscript with her right hand. A vase of lilies sits to the right of the pair. This is symbolic of the Virgin's purity.

Mary Magdalen, Depiction of Mary Magdalen sitting in three-quarter view holding an ointment jar. Her somewhat seductive pose and costume allude to her profession as a prostitute. She sits in front of a mountainous background. Christ and two angels are very faint on the hill in the background., c.1530

Portrait of a Man, Portrait of an unknown man in three-quarter view. He holds a letter in his left hand. To the left of him is a city on a hill. To the right of him is a tree. It is assumed that the sitter is Venetian based on his hairstyle and clothing., c.1521

This date coincides with the artist's stay in Venice which in turn explains why the sitter is dressed in Venetian fashion.

The Virgin and Christ Child, This scene depicts the Virgin and Christ child in an expansive landscape. The Christ child holds what appears to be grapes in his right hand as he points into the distance with his left hand. There is a small male figure visible in the bottom right (possibly Joseph).
