Ben Lucien Burman Papers
The Ben Lucien Burman Papers consist of xeroxed material relating to three of his books: Blow a Wild Bugle for Catfish Bend, Look Down That Winding River, and The Sign of the Praying Tiger. Included are carbon typescripts, holograph copies, worksheets, first drafts, galley proofs and an incomplete synopsis.
Ernest J. Gaines Collection
This small collection consists of one uncorrected proof copy of In My Father’s House by Ernest J. Gaines and a holograph manuscript fragment of 32 pages front and back of the same title.
Caroline Gordon Papers
This .21 linear foot collection consists of three file folders. It includes one folder of outgoing correspondence from 1942, 1972, and 1973. In addition, the collection contains two of Gordon’s manuscripts: “Old Mrs. Llewellyn” and “The Olive Garden,” both of which are not dated.
George Washington Harris Papers
