Major topics of interest include Professor Harrelson's work on the EMML (Ethiopian Manuscript Microfilm Library), the Revised Standard Bible, and his career at the Vanderbilt University Divinity School.

Scope and Content Note The Papers of George Noel Mayhew date from approximately 1853 to 1965 and document his education and career as a religious scholar and businessman. The bulk of the collection dates from the 1930’s to the 1960’s. This collection contains the papers of Sister Mary Peter McCusker, a Sister of Mercy who served the communities in the Peruvian Altiplano. Most of the collection contains correspondence dated 1978-1990 documenting her journey serving these communities, but there are also some photograph slides, cards, newsletters, and news clippings.
