Abstract

Collection contains records pertaining to and created by Dr. Marcus Chesley Key who practiced medicine in rural Tennessee during the early to mid 20th century. Records include diplomas, certificates, lecture notes, and ledger books that record patient visits and descrption of services rendered. The collection provides insight into the practice of medicine in a rural Southern community during the early to mid 20th century.
