Summary

This small collection consists of photographic prints taken by LeXander Bryant at the various performances affiliated with the music festival Florence Price: a Celebration in October and November of 2023, taking place at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, Tennessee State University, and at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. These images were then shown as part of the exhibition titled The Glory of the Day: LeXander Bryant Meets Florence Price, which took place at Vanderbilt University's Curb Center from February 9-March 8, 2024. This collection consists of 23 photographic prints and 1 folder of accompanying information.

LeXander Bryant (b. 1989) is a Nashville-based photographer and visual artist whose work is primarily focused on documenting the Black experience of the Southern United States.
