It includes pre-marriage information like her china pattern, crystal pattern, silver pattern and other choices that new brides make. Dorothy also includes memorabilia from her honeymoon trip. This was a road trip with stops that took the young couple from Canton, OH where they were married, to their new home in Blytheville, AR where Bernard had secured employment with the State of Arkansas Department of Agriculture. This scrapbook also includes her time teaching 7th grade science at Blytheville Middle School in Blytheville, AR. She kept the greeting cards and notes from her students for every holiday while she worked there. One of the letters is very touching from a student who included a picture of himself with his letter of thanks. This scrapbook covers an estimated time of August 1947 - early 1949.
