Personal papers and records of Dorothy Sanderson documenting her career as a professional dietitian in various hospitals and related institutions in Nashville, Tennessee and Cleveland, Ohio. Collection also consists of scrapbooks and materials that record her schooling, interests, family life and travel.

Physical Description
Wooden covered scrapbook containing memorabilia, photos, documents, calendar listings, and other items that pertain to Dorothy Shifman's time at Vanderbilt University completing her internship. This is the most interesting of all the scrapbooks since it is her first time in Nashville. She is extremely social and is meeting and dating many prominent folks in the Jewish community. These folks will become lifelong friends. This is also where she meets and gets engaged to Bernard Sanderson. Dates 1946 - 1947 (copyright unknown for memorabilia and other documents. Collection, calendar appointments, and notes written by Dorothy Shifman heirs Kenneth and Michael Sanderson)
