Biographical / Historical

Norman Edward Lane, Jr., was born to Norman Edward Lane, Sr., and Elizabeth Thornton Lane in Knoxville, Tennessee, on February 23, 1941. He majored in English at Vanderbilt University and then joined the Marines. He served in the Vietnam War and was killed in action on March 29, 1968.
