The physical materials from this collection may be viewed only in the reading room of Vanderbilt’s Special Collections and University Archives. Biographical / Historical
Karyn J. Taylor is an award-winning television news producer, director, and writer. She has crafted stories for CBS News’ 60 Minutes, ABC News’ 20/20 and Closeup, PBS’s Frontline, and more. Taylor graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College and is a recipient of Stanford University’s John S. Knight Fellowship for professional journalists. She has won over fifteen journalism and filmmaking awards and has been nominated for two EMMY's, the Writer's Guild Award, the Humanitas Prize, and the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award. Taylor is also the founder and principal of The Strategic Image, a litigation consulting firm in Chicago, Illinois.
