Biographical / Historical

The Race Relations Law Reporter (1956-1972) was launched in 1956 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. The RRLR was a pioneering social justice journal published by Vanderbilt University School of Law. Funded by the Ford Foundation, it compiled statutes, court decisions, and administrative rulings on civil rights and segregation. The RRLR ceased publication in 1972, and is now succeeded by the Vanderbilt Social Justice Reporter.
