Biographical / Historical
Clifford Hofwolt was a Professor of Science Education at Peabody College. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Colorado State University (then named Colorado State College) and taught chemistry and physics for two years in Huntington Beach, California. He then earned his Ed.D. from the University of Northern Colorado and taught for two years at Minot State University in North Dakota. In 1972, he joined the Peabody faculty, and in 2002, he also began serving as director of graduate studies in Teaching and Learning. Hofwolt died on July 5, 2016.
