Vanderbilt Student Portrait Scrapbook

Abstract

This collection contains a scrapbook of Vanderbilt student portraits from the late 19th century. There are 37 photographs, the majority on cabinet cards. While the majority of the photos are of college-age students, there are also a few photos of young children or older adults.

Phillips Memorial Building, which was built in 1956 as the Disciples of Christ Historical Society and became the Vanderbilt Special Collections and University Archives in 2023.
