Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.GERM.0282; Public Notes: This portrait was believed to be an image of Henry VIII's fifth wife, Catherine Howard, but this claim has recently been disputed due to the lack of any confirmed portraiture of Ms. Howard.
