The angel to the left wears a dalmatic and holds a violin and a piece of fruit. The Christ child reaches out to grab the fruit alluding to the fall of man and foreshadowing his sacrifice on the cross to cover all sin. The angel to the right of the enthroned pair plays a harp. At their feet is a Turkish rug. Archways in the background reveal a landscape with a palace of some sort., c.1479
