Scope and Contents

Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.FLEM.0418.1; Public Notes: This piece was originally a part of a series painted by Sittow and Juan de Flandes which depicted scenes from the life of Christ and the glorification of the Virgin. The series consisted of forty-seven small panels of the same size. This series was commissioned by Isabella the Catholic, the Queen of Castille.
