Christ Carrying the Cross, This painting depicts Christ wearing a crown of thorns and carrying the cross on the road into Calvary. He is surrounded by a mob of angry men carrying weapons. A soldier dressed in armor stands beside him, pushing him forward. The man standing directly in front of Jesus plays a horn, announcing his coming., 1500-1524

The Confirmation of the Virgin, This painting depicts the coronation of the Virgin Mary. Mary kneels in front of the Christ child and God the Father who sit enthroned with the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove hovering overhead. Three angels stand behind Mary holding the end of her robe, while two angels fly overhead crowning the Virgin. The scene is framed by clouds., c.1496-1504

The series consisted of forty-seven small panels of the same size. This series was commissioned by Isabella the Catholic, the Queen of Castille.
