San Rocco Heals Plague Victims, Painting depicts Saint Roch, or Rocco the fourteenth century saint well known for his work healing plague victims. The scene depicted here takes place in an outdoor landscape in which the sick are clustered and laying down, saint Rocco appears laying hands and healing the sick. Above them Jesus Christ appears in the sky to represent the divine blessing and sanction of the healing., 1592-1595
