He appears here as an older man in a white floor length garment elevated on the clouds, his arms outstretched, gazing skyward. To his right an angel holds a staff and on his right a papal headpiece, both attributes of his later, disproved saint attributes. Above him the clouded sky is full of angels and a dove descends upon him. At his feet sit the mature depictions of Saint Peter and Saint Paul both holding books and glancing toward the scene. The Magdalene, Painting depicts the Renaissance archetype of the Penitent Mary. This apocryphal story that follows Mary Magdalene after the death of Jesus. It was said that she then retired with all of her possessions, goods, and only the clothes on her back to live a life of exile and repentance. Here, she appears among shining curtains, rich fabrics, jewels, etc, though her clothes have disintegrated with time and her hair is past her waist. She kneels and looks to the sky, hands lifted in prayer to show her state of repentance. There is also a small dog in the bottom left of the painting.

Sebastian appears here as a young man, naked with the exception of a small loin cloth. He has one hand bound above his head and another behind him. He has one arrow in his hip and he looks down with his eyes closed.
