The scene on the left side of the panel could depict the Plot against Joseph by his brothers in which the group buried him alive out of jealousy. The right side may depict the abundance from Joseph's reign in Egypt and the refugees that came to the land for aid. The scene to the back left however, depicts Joseph receiving his brothers again in Egypt, when their own famine brought them to Egypt.
