, There are five vertical panels, each split into two horizontal panels. The central panel shows the Virgin with the Christ Child, surrounded by angels. Above this scene is the resurrected Christ (shown with stigmata) most likely in the heavenly realm, surrounded by kneeling worshipers. Christ is shown about the Madonna and Child within a triangular piece, like a small roof for the panel. Each of the two outlying vertical panels show a smaller triangular roof; inside each of these is a man holding an inscribed banner. The eight remaining scenes are from the lives of the Virgin and Christ. The left side panels show the Annunciation, and then scenes from Mary's and Jesus's life together when he was a child. The right side panels show the deaths and ascensions of both Mary and Jesus.
