Altarpiece with Prophets, The piece is divided up into five sections by architectural niches that are within the image. Within the middle is Christ, shown half-clothed, and flanked by two women, presumably Mary Mother of Christ and Mary Magdelene. He is displaying his pierced side to the woman on his right. Four men are within four niches, two on the left of Christ's niche, and two on the right. According to the banners each one is holding, it gives the name of the man. The farthest left reads, "Daniel Prophet". Between him and Christ the man's banner reads, "David King Prophet", and he is shown holding a musical instrument, a lyre or a harp. To the viewer's immediate right of Christ the man's banner reads, "Zechariah Prophet." The final man and his banner who are seated farthest right, however, are unknown.

Baptism of Saint Hyppolite by Saint Florentine, The scene is framed beneath five pointed arches that act as an architectural structure. According to the caption beneath the photograph, Saint Hyppolite is kneeling before Saint Florentine to be baptized. Chandler Rathfon Post's book, however, names Saint Hippolytus as the kneeler and Saint Lawrence as the baptizer. Hippolytus was converted by Saint Lawrence. Those behind the kneeler are assumed to be his household.

Altarpiece with Christ and Twelve Apostles and Four Gospel Writers, Christ is in the center of the altarpiece inside of an oval shape outlined by gem-like designs. He is sitting on a throne, with his feet on a footstool, and he holds a book that has a flower shape on its cover. The oval shape Christ is in is within a rectangular shape, outlined by gem-like designs. In the four corners of this are the Four Beasts as the Four Gospel writers. They are given name markers and are identified as such, beginning from the top left, the eagle as John; top right, the winged man (or angel) as Matthew; bottom left, the ox as Luke; and bottom right, the lion as Mark. In four registers that take up the remainder of the altarpiece, divided on two sides by the middle register with Christ and the Four Gospel writers, are the Apostles. They are grouped into four groups of three, and given identifications. They are listed as such (from left to right): top left register--James, John, and Peter; top right--Bartholomew, James, and Judas; bottom left--Thomas, Paul, and Matthew; bottom right--Simon, Andrew, and Philip. Since only one Judas is listed, but Christ had two apostles named Judas (Luke 6:13-16), then the inclusion of Paul seems to exclude Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Christ.
Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.SPAN.0015; Public Notes: Beneath the image there is an identification: "Palio to romanico di Catalogna: 'Cristo e i dodici Apostoli'" which translates to: "Prize to Romanesque Catalogna: 'Christ and His Twelve Apostles.'"

Predella panel showing Saints Margaret and Bartholomew, Label from Philadelphia Museum of Art:
"This panel came from a large altarpiece, called a retablo in Spanish, in the church of San Pablo in Palencia. It was originally part of the predella, or lower panel, of the retablo.
These two saints are part of a set of four saints who are early Christian martyrs, but they are presented in the guise of contemporary aristocrats. Only their attributes— the dragon for Margaret, and the knife for Bartholomew—identify them as these early martyrs.", 1450-01-01

Annunciazione, In the center, the archangel Gabriel kneels at Mary's feet; this is the Annunciation of the birth of Christ through the Virgin Mary.
According to tradition, Gabriel holds a lily and this is the symbol of the Virgin's purity; therefore, the flowers in his hand and at Mary's feet are lilies. He has a halo, wings, a garment with floral decoration, and a band around his head.
Mary wears blue and gold, and has a halo.
There is a book between the two and Mary also holds an open book.
A dove is seen close to her head. Following the dove's tail and tracing up to the upper left of the painting the Christ child and God the Father are seen. It appears that the bearded Father God (wearing a halo and holding an orb) has sent first the dove, then the Christ child (wearing a halo, holding his arms crossed, and inside a small circle).
