Venus, Cupid, and a Satyre, The work shows three figures in an emotive, vibrant moment. The reclining figure Venus takes up the entire frame from head to toe. She is clothed in a small gown that covers her breasts and pubic area, but is positioned with her front out toward the viewer. She looks up and holds Cupid's bow behind her with a slightly bemused smile. The nude winged youthful Cupid tries to grab the bow from behind her. Both of them carry an arrow. A satyre joins the scene on the viewer's right, well-positioned to gaze at Venus's covered area, where his eyes are focused. He holds up a gesture of salutation, and holds a lute in his left hand.
