Scenes from the Life of St John the Evangelist: Raising of Drusiana, Painting is one of several images that depict scenes from the life of Saint John the Evangelist painted by Giotto. This painting depicts the hagiographical scene in which Saint John resurrected his fellow Jesus follower Drusiana, outside of Ephesus. Here, a group of people stand on either side of Drusiana's body. The group on the left feature beggars, the wounded, and John the Evangelist. The group on the right include well dressed men, likely religious leaders. In the middle Druisana sits up upon her death bed and points and John the Evangelist., 1315-1320
