Madonna and Child Enthroned, This photograph is a detail from an altarpiece which shows angels crowning Mary and the Saints John the Baptist and Catherine of Sienna. In this photograph only Mary the Mother of Christ and the Christ Child are visible. Mary supports the standing Jesus with her left hand, who is probably two or three years old and he holds an object in his left hand. They are shown both giving gestures of blessing with their right hand. Above the scene the "Pacis" of "Regina Pacis" is visible, as well as part of the angels' bodies. And to the viewer's bottom right is a closer view of the flowers beside Mary and Jesus, showing that they are lilies. This is a basic record created to enable public access to scanned images. Full research on this image is pending.

Saints Peter and Paul, These two saints have long been associated with each other since the beginning of Christian paintings and sculpture. Peter, on the left, is traditionally shown as the older of the two; in this painting, he is shown reading out of a book. Paul, on the right, is traditionally rendered younger; here, he holds a sword and a closed book. Often, Peter is depicted as a soldier and Paul as a philosopher, but here those types are less defined. Behind them is a landscape, and in small form under the horizon line, there are allusive illustrations to when Christ called each of them, respectively. Peter's, on the far left, is Jesus calling him when he was a fisherman. Paul is shown thrown off of his horse when he saw the vision of Christ. This is a basic record created to enable public access to scanned images. Full research on this image is pending., c.1450-1500, Photographed in 1929

, The central panel of the triptych shows when Christ appeared to many disciples and apostles after his death. It may be the Ascension, or another time when he appeared to a large group. Christ is shown with a robe covering his waist, holding an orb in his left hand, and giving a gesture of teaching or blessing with his right hand. Behind him, angels are shown in the heavenly realm, and below, the astonished disciples look at each other but hold their hands in prayer and reverence. The right panel shows the martyr Saint Sebastian pierced with many arrows. The left panel is a saint shown in bishop robes with a child at his side. He may be Pope Gregory the Great, often shown in pontifical robes, or it may be Saint Anthony of Padua, who is often shown with the Christ Child. This is a basic record created to enable public access to scanned images. Full research on this image is pending.

The Coronation of the Virgin, The painting shows the coronation of Mary, the Mother of Christ. She is being crowned by Christ as she kneels before him. Above them both in the heavenly realm is a bearded God the Father, wearing a garment and a long and flowing cloak atop, along with a three-tiered hat. He is encircled and elaborate oval. Angels and saints, rendered as humans with their saint attributes and humans with large wings protruding skyward, look onward toward the viewer as they watch the coronation. One angel holds a banner that flows upward reading, "Ave Maria Gracia." This is a basic record created to enable public access to scanned images. Full research on this image is pending.
