Research material and first draft of an unpublished manuscript on the history of scurvy. Adelia Beeuwkes was a dietitian, teacher, and author of books on dietetics and the history of nutrition. She was a professor at the University of Michigan from 1940-1966.
Biographical file contains one letter, one newspaper clipping, and an obituary. Margaret Buchanan donated several scrapbooks to the 300th General Hospital Collection which is a part of the Medical Center Archives housed in the Eskind Library Archives.
Biographical file includes photographs, news clippings and biographical features, CDs, and correspondence about her participation in state and federal health commissions and other public service efforts.
