This three-box collection contains materials relating to the life of Merrill Moore. Merrill Moore (1903-1957) was a native Tennessean, neurological physician, veteran, and poet. The collection is primarily comprised of his poetry, manuscripts, and letters (both incoming and outgoing) about and by Merrill Moore. It also includes photographs, programs, newspaper clippings, biographical materials, tape recordings, and miscellaneous documents all pertaining to Merrill Moore’s life.
Personal papers of Walter McNairy Morgan, dentist and Vanderbilt graduate. Materials include: biographical material; and files relating to Meharry Medical College, Veteran's Administration Hospital, National Research Council Committee on Dentistry, Dental Education, notes on history of Vanderbilt Medical School, and history of dentistry.
This collection contains scrapbooks related to Reverend Nicholas Sneed Ogburn’s 30 years as a missionary in Japan before the outbreak of WWII. Rev. Ogburn was a graduate of Vanderbilt (B.D. 1911).
