Peter Redvers-Lee Blues Interview Collection
This collection consists of audio interviews with blues musicians gathered by Peter Redvers-Lee, in part in collaboration with others. These were variously conducted either in preparation for articles to be printed in Living Blues magazine or for a then-planned book on Sonny Boy Williamson ((II), d. 1965). The collection also includes transcripts of many of these interviews and copies of documents and press chiefly related to Sonny Boy Williamson (II) and other blues artists.
John Turner Ugandan Popular Music Interviews Collection
This small collection consists of materials related to the Vanderbilt University Student Research project of Blair student John Turner in June-July 2005 in Uganda. The student paper resulting from these recordings was "Popular Music Venues as Sites for Medical Outreach in Kampala, Uganda". This collection consists of CD-R discs of audio files and digital images.

This site contains collection guides, or finding aids, to the archival collections held by Vanderbilt University Special Collections and University Archives, the History of Medicine Collection, and the Scarritt Bennett Center. Finding aids describe the context, arrangement, and structure of archival materials, allowing users to identify and request materials relevant to their research.
