Thomas Kelly Van Zandt III biographical file
File contains a transcription of a letter from Thomas Van Zandt to Mr. Adolph B. Hill, Jr. of the Hill Hentschel Company, St. Louis, outlining his service in the 300th General Hospial. File also contains a CD of photographic images of Capt. Van Zandt and the 300th General Hospital Unit.
Cornelius Vanderbilt (1794-1877) biographical file
File contains photocopies of photographs, and newspapers clipping from the January 9, 1877 Nashville Daily American issue describing the funeral services for Cornelius Vanderbilt. Also a photograph and article about his wife Frank Crawford Vanderbilt.

Olin West Papers
Personal papers of Vanderbilt alum and epidemiologist Olin West, a primary figure in the development of the Tennessee State Department of Public Health. The collection contains manuscripts on public health and one photograph.

File contains Nashville Banner article on Dr. Whitacre's appointment to Head of OB/GYN at Nashville General Hospital in 1960, and Nashville Banner article on Dr. Whitacre's being honored by collegues at Hillwood Dinner in 1966.
