This small collection consists of materials related to the Vanderbilt University Student Research project of Blair School of Music student John Dick, Jr., gathered in May-June 2004 in Uganda. This work focused on the intersection of HIV/AIDS, traditional musical culture, and activism, and resulted in a thesis. This collection consists of 24 DAT audio tapes and 16 Digital Video Cassette tapes.
