The William Lofland Dudley Papers consist of the correspondence, lecture notes, articles, speeches, clippings, and scrapbooks of chemist William Lofland Dudley (1895-1914).
Doris Ann Dudney Collection
This collection is composed of one Hollinger box with seven folders. Within the collection is a biography of Dudney, her Kappa Delta initiation certificate, her notes from law school, her license to practice law in Florida, correspondence from both her and her family, and an article by Opal S. Dudney.
Francis Marion Duke (1848-1913) biographical file
File includes death certificate, census record, and medical license as well as other genealogical information.
Jack Duley collection
Six pamphlets about x-rays and radioisotopes from 1958. They do not have an immediate Vanderbilt connection, other than their connection to Dr. Jack Duley, who was a Vanderbilt resident. They were kept by his daughter for decades after his death. Two certificates and a bio sketch added 07/21/2013.

Collection of reprints of the published articles of biochemist Max Shaw Dunn who was a pioneer in amino acid and protein research, and the first teacher of biochemistry at UCLA.

Anna Coile Durham Collection
This .21 linear foot collection consists of the booklet King George sent to blind Allied soldiers in French Braille. An English translation of King George’s message is included. The collection also contains a letter written by the organization’s founder George A. Kessler which is written in French. In addition, a letter to Anna Coile Durham from the Permanent Blind Relief War Fund is included which was sent to her with this copy of King George’s message.
George Dutch Papers
The papers contain handwritten and typed letters, publications by the Western Arts Association, and minutes from meetings as well as a copy of the constitution. There is also a folder pertaining to the finances of the Western Arts Association and a few publications from the Western Arts Association and one folder pertaining to the Southern Arts Association.
Mary Ella Duvall Diary
This collection consists of the diary dated 1861-1867 of an educated young woman as she leaves school and reflects on the changing world around her due to the American Civil War.

Marvin Eisenberg Collection
The Marvin Eisenberg Collection is a research photographic archive of primarily Italian paintings of the 12th through 15th centuries. This collection contains photographs, postcards, museum catalogs, art journal articles, correspondence, and research notes. The photographs were assembled for art history lecture presentations and research for journal and book publications about Italy’s late Gothic and early Renaissance painting.
Robert Burns Eleazer Papers
The Robert Burns Eleazer Papers (1877–1973) include correspondence and writings by Eleazer as well as newspaper clippings, course and program outlines, press releases and pamphlets. There are several autobiographical writings as well as a transcription of Mr. Eleazer being interviewed by historian John Egerton shortly before Mr. Eleazer’s death in 1973. Writings by others include reviews, articles, pamphlets and student papers.

Finding aids describe the context, arrangement, and structure of archival materials, allowing users to identify and request materials relevant to their research.
Requesting Materials
Each finding aid contains a link to request materials from the collections. Collections can also be requested by emailing the repository directly through the library website. Each repository has its own location, hours, and contact information. Please consult the repository with questions about using the materials. Collections are non-circulating and must be used in the repository’s reading room. In many cases, the collections are stored off-site and require advance notice for retrieval.
