Adelia M. Beeuwkes Papers
Research material and first draft of an unpublished manuscript on the history of scurvy. Adelia Beeuwkes was a dietitian, teacher, and author of books on dietetics and the history of nutrition. She was a professor at the University of Michigan from 1940-1966.

Franklin C. Bing Papers
Personal papers of nutritionist and chemist Franklin Bing, a leading food scientist as well as a poet and member of the Chicago Literary Club. Materials include: correspondence; reprints; manuscripts and speeches; reports; notes; notebooks; diaries; curricula vitae; correspondence, including extensive communication with his mentor L. B. Mendel concerning his dissertation and subsequent manuscripts; and files relating to the Chicago Literary Club and church.

John Browe Papers
Mary de Garmo Bryan Papers
Personal papers of editor, dietitian, and nutrition advisor Mary de Garmo Bryan. She served as an Army dietitian in France during WWI and was a pioneer in the development of the school lunch program in the United States. Materials include: manuscripts, reprints, correspondence, pamphlets, and notes. Two copies of Dr. Bryan's dissertation are contained in the collection.

File contains newspaper clippings and obiturary outlining carreer of Dr. Carter.
Harriette Chick Collection
Biographical material relating to British nutritionist Harriette Chick. Dr. Chick was best known for her research on vitamins and rickets during the first half of the twentieth century. Material includes: correspondence with E. Neige Todhunter; reprints, obituaries, and photographs.
Frank Chytil (1924-2010) biographical file
Biographical file includes academic articles, numerous newspaper clippings, several photographs, curriculum vitae, many press releases, journal articles, slides, reprints, and other biographical information.
C. Frank Consolazio Papers
Personal papers of C. Frank Consolazio, biochemist nutritionist. Material includes: slides, reprints and subject files. The majority of the collection is made up of subject files pertaining to his wide range of interests. The largest group covers nutrition surveys of U.S. military related agencies including ICNND.

Finding aids describe the context, arrangement, and structure of archival materials, allowing users to identify and request materials relevant to their research.
Requesting Materials
Each finding aid contains a link to request materials from the collections. Collections can also be requested by emailing the repository directly through the library website. Each repository has its own location, hours, and contact information. Please consult the repository with questions about using the materials. Collections are non-circulating and must be used in the repository’s reading room. In many cases, the collections are stored off-site and require advance notice for retrieval.
