Roy Neel Papers
This collection contains the papers of Roy Neel, Democratic operative and longtime top assistant to Vice President Al Gore, Jr. and President Bill Clinton. He served as Chief of Staff to Vice President Gore and Deputy Chief of Staff to President Clinton.
Herman Clarence Nixon Papers
This collection includes correspondence, diaries, journals where articles were published, etc. Series I contains incoming correspondence that is arranged alphabetically, then by date in the folders. A few pieces of correspondence are written in French and Spanish. Series II contains publications.
Books received with the collection were removed and catalogued.
Political Buttons Collection
Collection of 10-15 political buttons from 1960-1990s including Clinton/Gore and Kennedy/Johnson.
Walter R. Pope Collection
This .42 linear foot collection in 34 file folders contains various memorabilia of Walter R. Pope. It consists of biographical sketches, political campaign literature for the Republican Party (both national and local), military maps and reports, political newsletters, and letters. The collection is arranged by subject, in acid-free file folders, and housed in a manuscript box.
James R. Sasser Papers
John Seigenthaler Papers
This collection contains the papers of John Seigenthaler, journalist, writer, and longtime editor of The Tennessean. Seigenthaler was a prominent advocate for First Amendment rights and founded the First Amendment Center at Vanderbilt University. Seigenthaler also worked for Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and was a longtime friend of the Kennedy family.
Henry Lee Swint Papers
Kemp Tolley and James Stahlman Collection
This collection contains copies of correspondence between Kemp Tolley and James Stahlman. It also contains an essay, and 2 copies of newsletters edited by Kemp Tolley. The letters discuss a wide range of topics: World War II, Cuba, China, Russia, Roberts Commission, Kennedy Assassination, and the Warren Commission.
Elizabeth Chapman Denny Vann Papers
This collection contains the papers of Elizabeth Chapman Denny Vann (1884 Jan. 7 - 1977 March 20). Elizabeth Vann was a Vanderbilt graduate (B.A. 1904, M.A. 1905) and New Jersey State Director of the Women's and Professional Division of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in the 1930s, among many other jobs. She was also involved in a number of civic organizations, including the Leonia Women's Club, the Civic Conference, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Clanton W. Williams Collection
This collection contains a 1949 address given by Clanton W. Williams in Panama City, Florida.
Henry N. Williams Collection
This collection contains one 1942 journal article written by Henry N. Williams.

Collections are non-circulating and must be used in the repository’s reading room. In many cases, the collections are stored off-site and require advance notice for retrieval.
