Clark Family Papers
The Correspondence of various members of the Clark family of Campbell County, Virginia, originally Quakers, but later scattered to other denominations. Members of the family settled in Franklin, KY and Russellville, KY.
William Giles Harding Papers
Thomas S. Jones/John R. Jones Family Papers
This collection contains the accounting records of a plantation in Charleston, Mississippi; the correspondence of two brothers, Thomas S. Jones [who was in charge of the plantation] and John R. Jones [who was practicing medicine in Marshall County, Tennessee]; and speech. Buleah Davis donated this collection in 1939.
John Thompson Papers
This .21 linear feet collection contains 63 letters, two postcards, and one V-Mail Christmas Card from John Thompson to several family members while serving in the United States Navy during World War II. The letters are arranged in file folders chronologically by year, then month.
Elizabeth Chapman Denny Vann Papers
This collection contains the papers of Elizabeth Chapman Denny Vann (1884 Jan. 7 - 1977 March 20). Elizabeth Vann was a Vanderbilt graduate (B.A. 1904, M.A. 1905) and New Jersey State Director of the Women's and Professional Division of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in the 1930s, among many other jobs. She was also involved in a number of civic organizations, including the Leonia Women's Club, the Civic Conference, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
