Simon Bolivar Manuscript
This collection contains a commission signed by Simon Bolivar naming Jose Duran as Captain of the Escuadron dated July 22, 1824.
John B. Lomax Collection
This collection contains 54 photographs documenting the African-American soldiers of the 3067 Quartermaster Salvage Collecting Company in training in Wyoming during WWII, with almost all of the photographs annotated with humorous remarks and identifications of the images. There is also a photostatic copy of discharge papers.
Joann Mosby Vietnam Letters Collection
This collection contains 27 letters sent to Joann Mosby from two men, Larry Powell and Andrew Johnson, serving overseas during the Vietnam War. The letters are dated 1966-1968.
Dewitt R. Smith Papers
This collection contains 49 letters from DeWitt Smith to his sweetheart, Marion, while serving in the Air Force during the Korean War in 1952. There is also a gold-colored name place and a photograph of Smith in flight fatigues.
Kemp Tolley and James Stahlman Collection
This collection contains copies of correspondence between Kemp Tolley and James Stahlman. It also contains an essay, and 2 copies of newsletters edited by Kemp Tolley. The letters discuss a wide range of topics: World War II, Cuba, China, Russia, Roberts Commission, Kennedy Assassination, and the Warren Commission.
U.S. Colored Troops Civil War Muster Roll
This collection contains a muster roll of a company of black soldiers in the American Civil War. The company was present at General Robert E. Lee's surrender at Appomattox Court House.
