This collection contains materials in one box about the Cundinamarca, Colombia election of 1859 collected by J. León Helguera.
J. León Helguera Papers
This collection contains the personal papers of Joseph León Helguera, professor of History at Vanderbilt University for 28 years, specializing in Latin American History. A majority of the collection is unprocessed, but a series on the United States Peace Corps-Colombia project circa 1960-1962 is processed and consists of two boxes.
The John M. Hill Collection
Julius Christian Jacobsen Papers
This .21 linear ft. collection contains correspondence, some handwritten, written by Julius Jacobsen while he worked in Colombia, South America. Most date from 1936-1941. The majority of the letters describe his time in Colombia and business activities.
James J. Lang Papers
Sister Mary McCusker Papers
This collection contains the papers of Sister Mary Peter McCusker, a Sister of Mercy who served the communities in the Peruvian Altiplano. Most of the collection contains correspondence dated 1978-1990 documenting her journey serving these communities, but there are also some photograph slides, cards, newsletters, and news clippings.
Eduardo Rosenzvaig Papers
The following material is a collection of comics from the cartoonists: Quino and Caloi. As a whole, the collection is composed of copies of their artwork and newspaper clippings. There is also an interview of Quino from the magazine Clarin and a clipping about Al Hirschfeld accompanied with some of his work.
Tango Collection
Photographs of well-known tango stars, many autographed and dated. Most are from the early 1930s to the late 1950s.
