Sara Holroyd World War II and George Peabody College for Teachers Collection
This small collection (.42 linear feet ) contains letters, programs, and newspaper clippings collected by Sara Holroyd, a 1946 graduate of George Peabody College for Teachers. (Peabody merged Vanderbilt University in 1979.). Ms. Holroyd was a student leader and a musician while at Peabody, and many of the programs feature her as a student musician. This collection also chronicles the end of WWII and activities at Peabody College during that time.
Edith Lillian Jones Collection
This collection contains nine photographs and seven postcards.
Michael A. Kaschak Collection
This .21 linear foot collection contains 49 photographs, in 31 folders, of sites around Tennessee; buildings in Nashville, Tennessee; and, buildings on the campuses of George Peabody College and Vanderbilt University.
Charles Edgar Little Papers
The Charles E. Little Papers are comprised of .84 linear feet and mostly relate to Peabody College and Vanderbilt University.
Nashville University Women's Council Records
The Nashville University Women’s Council Collection is ½ Hollinger box or .21 linear feet and contains records of the council from 1973 to 1979. Financial records, correspondence, membership information and meeting minutes comprise the bulk of the records.
Louis Thurston Nicholas Papers
Alice Parr Collection
This .21 linear feet collection is comprised of 22 photographs, in 13 file folders, taken between 1899 and 1902 of Alice Parr, her classmates, and a University of Nashville school building. The photographs are in alphabetical order where identified, otherwise grouped by date.
Bruce R. Payne Papers
The Bruce R. Payne Papers are comprised of nine boxes (3.78 linear feet) of correspondence and subject files related to Payne's tenure as President of Peabody College. The bulk of the papers consist of correspondence.
Peabody Aid Society Records
This collection consists of 2.25 linear feet of materials related to the Peabody Aid Society an offshoot of the Peabody Woman's Club. The collection is made up of two Hollinger boxes and one flat box. It contains correspondences, membership lists, invitations to meetings, a guest book, constitution and revisions, and one small and one large scrapbook.
Peabody Dames Collection
This collection contains a miscellany of records (historical, financial, membership, press, and other) from this social club connected to George Peabody College for Teachers.
The collection is .84 linear feet and covers the years 1917 until 1974. In addition there is a scrapbook containing photographs, reports, yearbooks, and programs and which includes materials from the years 1953-1957.
