Abstract

Personal papers of biochemist, microbiologist, Vanderbilt professor, and editor Sidney P. Colowick, who was known principally for his work on the hexokinase enzyme and the regulations on hexose transport in cultured animal cells. The collection includes: professional correspondence; publication, editorial and review correspondence; research notes, photographs, and reprints. Correspondents include: Herman Kalakar, Nathan O. Kaplan, Kurt Jacoby, Rollo Park, and Victor A. Najjar.
