Estelle Ansley Worrell Collection
Joseph E. Wright Papers
This collection contains material related to theatre, plays, George Bernard Shaw, and Donald Davidson and was donated by Joseph E. Wright.
Stuart Wright Collection
The .63 linear feet collection (2 boxes) contains correspondence between Robert Penn Warren and George Core, as well as correspondence between Robert Penn Warren and Stuart Wright. There is also correspondence from Eleanor Clark to Stuart Wright. Many of the letters refer to the publishing of books, but many are personal in nature. Some of the letters are typed and some handwritten.
Wright, W. Whittier Collection
Mr. W. Whittier Wright is a Vanderbilt Alumnus who graduated in 1943. His collection consists of correspondence between himself and Agrarian literary writer Andrew Nelson Lytle.
WSM Radio and Television Collection
The WSM Radio & TV collection is composed of correspondence, photographs, scripts of radio programs, and promotional material. It is stored in thirteen manuscript boxes, eight of which contain scripts of radio programs. Dates of the collection range from 1928 to 1966 with a large portion of the material dated in the 1940s.
WWII Homefront Diary
This collection contains a 5-Year diary written by a North Carolina woman in the Raleigh area at the outset of WWII. She details an active life marked by frequent car trips, bridge club meetings, and duties around the home.
Alvin York Collection
The Alvin York Collection is comprised one linear feet of artifacts. The materials are some of York's personal household items as well as a New Testament and scrapbook.
Anna Green Young Collection
A brief, two page history of Captain George Ridley and his family, early settlers in the Nashville area, and Fort Ridley, built between 1785-1790.
Bert Edward Young Collection
This collection contains a 1913 paper delivered, by Bert Edward Young, before the Round Table of Nashville.
Ed Young Collection
This collection contains autographed photographs of opera personalities.

Finding aids describe the context, arrangement, and structure of archival materials, allowing users to identify and request materials relevant to their research.
Requesting Materials
Each finding aid contains a link to request materials from the collections. Collections can also be requested by emailing the repository directly through the library website. Each repository has its own location, hours, and contact information. Please consult the repository with questions about using the materials.
