Historical or Biographical Note

Charles Ray Womack served as Resident Physician at Vanderbilt Hospital in 1951-52. He received his M.D. from Vanderbilt in 1945 and continued his postgraduate training at Vanderbilt in the Department of Medicine. Following his time at Vanderbilt, he was a member of the faculty in the Department of Microbiology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
