Historical or Biographical Note
Thomas George Pollard, M.D., graduated from the University of Nashville Medical School in 1901. He was associated with its chair of surgery until the university's amalgamation with the University of Tennessee in 1911. Pollard served as chair of the Nashville General Hospital Board from 1943 to 1960.
