Historical or Biographical Note
Robert Noyes, M.D., was named head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1961. He joined Vanderbilt from Stanford, where he served as associate professor in the university's school of medicine. Noyes left Vanderbilt in 1965. His other specialties included public health and anatomic/clinical pathology.
