Historical or Biographical Note
Ross Dunn, M.D., was born near Murfreesboro in Rutherford County, Tennessee, in 1865. He graduated from the Univeristy of Nashville Medical School in 1889. For many years, Dr. Dunn served as Professor of Materia Medica at Vanderbilt University. He died from a ruptured appendix in 1899.
