Historical or Biographical Note
Kim Dayani was born in Iran in 1939 and emigrated to the United States in 1957 to pursue an education. Dayani graduated from Drury College in 1961 and received a scholarship to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1965. In 1970, he established a successful business in healthcare. Due to his interest in preventive medicine, the Dayani Center at Vanderbilt was built in his memory.
